Inspired by metropolitan energy, urban girls and city guerrillas

The materials: voluminous, soft Baby Alpaca performed with big cables and structures, noble Cashmere, Cashmere mixed irregular with mohair and new  light Cashmere „fiammato“.

SIZES Small
MATERIAL Cotton Yarn  (or whatever material you prefer) to use with 4 mm knitting needles, 50gg, crochet hook
GAUGE 22 stitches and 30 rows = 10×10 cm

CUPS
Cast on 33 stitches. This will make  the base of a triangle about 15 cm across the bottom when it is done. Work 18 rows in Stockinette stitch.
Begin : right side  decrease row: knit 14,knit 2 together, knit 1, knit 2 together, knit 14
Wrong side decrease row: purl 13, purl 2 together, purl 1, purl 2 together, purl 13
Continue as established. decrease 2 stitches every row and working 1 less stitch before and after each decrease until you have only 3 stitches left.
Knit 3 together or purl 3 together (depending on which side you are working on)- 1 stitch.

NECK STRAP
Place the 1 stitch from the top of your triangle onto your crochet hook.
Chain for about  50 cm , or as long as needed to reach up around your neck and tie. It will be kind of curly at he ends , so it will be ok if it is a tiny bit too long.
Cut and pull the end through the last stitch.

FINISHING
Once you have 2 cups, you need to make  the strap that holds them around and ties in the back.
With the crochet hook, chain about 120 cm, or whatever length you need to go around your rib cage and tie in the back. Cut and pull the end through.

Find the middle of the strap and begin there (or close to it- depending on your size you might want to leave space of 3-4 cm or so in the middle) with the right side facing, attach yarn and single crochet the strap to the bottom of one of the cups, attaching one knit stitch to each chain stitch as follows:

Start with 1 stitch on the hook. *Insert hook through 1 stitch of the chain and 1 stitch of the cup. Make a loop and pull it through both ch and cup (you will have a new stitch and the original stitch on the hook). Loop again and pull it through both stitches. Repeat from * to the end of the cups. Weave in the ends.

Make sure everything is facing the right way before you attach the 2nd cup. Count back 33 chain stitches from  the middle (plus whatever you are leaving as cleavage space), and single crochet the cup to the strap from the outside bottom  corner to the inside.
Weave the ends in.
